Health is a productive asset that influences individual, familial, societal and national growth significantly. Aruwe recognizes that attainment of health indicators has been uneven across the rural-urban divide. Besides, access to public health services is nominal and health standards are grossly inadequate for the vulnerable sections of the society and the same scenario goes with the urban poor. In line with our commitment to ‘Health for All’ we have regular health camps which apart from providing solutions, focus on information dissemination, and preventive and promotive healthcare practices.
To promote positive health, prevention of diseases, early diagnosis-treatment and follow up of disease, and provision of healthy environment.
Aruwe conducts regular general health camps to screen common ailments in the urban poor. Regular dental and eye camps are conducted with the help of government and non-government organizations and volunteers.
Aruwe has successfully campaigned in immunization of children and pregnant mothers and more than 2060 children and adults are reached out through health camps
